Join the Sakıp Sabancı Center for Turkish Studies and the Ambedkar Program in Global Constitutionalism and for a co-sponsored conversation with leading human rights lawyer Ayşe Bingöl Demir. Drawing on her extensive advocacy before the Turkish Constitutional Court, the European Court of Human Rights, and U.N. mechanisms, she will reflect on the role of strategic human rights litigation in responding to democratic backsliding in Türkiye and beyond.
